 Sustainability as a business model until recently was reserved for small, independent businesses and companies. But over the past few years, large companies, even multinational ones, have set sustainable business as an imperative and committed themselves to ambitious goals that require transformative changes in business processes. It is clear that it is not ‘just’ one goal but a long-term process that requires intensive cooperation of different stakeholders. How much does technology help us in the whole process, and can we really be big, successful and green? What does it take for a company to be called ‘sustainable’ and how to avoid ‘greenwashing’?
