Effie Index reveals the most effective campaigns, brands, agencies and advertisers of 2025

According to the 2025 Effie Index rankings, BBDO Zagreb was named Croatia’s most effective agency, while Podravka Group was recognized as the country’s most effective marketer.

According to the latest 2025 Effie Index, which measures effectiveness based on results achieved in national Effie Awards competitions, BBDO Zagreb emerged as Croatia’s most effective agency office. Among Croatian brands, Ožujsko claimed the top spot, while Podravka Group was named the country’s most effective marketer. Omnicom ranked as the leading agency holding group and BBDO Worldwide was recognized as Croatia’s most effective agency network.

The Effie Index compares results achieved across more than 50 national Effie Awards programs operating in 125 markets worldwide, making it one of the most respected benchmarks of marketing effectiveness. Based on performance in last year’s national, regional and global Effie competitions, including Effie Awards Croatia, whose winners were announced at the DK festival in Rovinj, the following participants from Croatia’s marketing communications industry were ranked among the market’s top performers:

  • BBDO Zagreb, OMD, Bruketa&Žinić&Grey, ZOO Agency, 404 / MYTY, Leo Burnett, Real Grupa, Pink Moon, Enterwell and TCC Global in the Most Effective Agencies category
  • ZOO Agency, Real Grupa, Pink Moon, Enterwell, Producenti, TCC Global, Studio Nexus, Seekandhit, Studio Goreta and Val Grupa among the Most Effective Independent Agencies Offices category
  • BBDO Worldwide, Omnicom Media Group, Grey Group, Real Grupa, MYTY Group, Leo, Ogilvy, McCann Worldgroup, Banda Agency and North Alliance among the Most Effective Agency Networks category
  • Omnicom, WPP, MYTY Group Holding AG, Publicis Groupe and Interpublic (IPG) among the Most Effective Agency Holding Groups category
  • Ožujsko, A1, Konzum, Podravka, VEGETA, FANT, Tisak, DTEK, Jana, LAQO, Marodi, Mastercard, Studena and the European Parliament among the Most Effective Brands category
  • Podravka Group, Zagrebačka Pivovara, Fortenova Group, A1 Telekom Austria Group, Studenac, Croatia Osiguranje, DTEK, the European Parliament, Marodi and Mastercard among the Most Effective Marketers category

At the global level, Unilever was named the most effective marketer, McDonald’s the most effective brand, Omnicom the most effective agency holding group, Leo the most effective agency network, AlmapBBDO the most effective agency office and Banda Agency the most effective independent agency office.

For decades, Effie is known as one of the marketing industry’s most prestigious awards. Since 1968, it has recognized communications initiatives that deliver measurable results, becoming one of the most respected benchmarks of marketing effectiveness among advertisers and agencies worldwide.
