Entries are now open for the 35th edition of the ADCE Awards and this year, entries from Croatia’s national creative competition IdejaX are also eligible to compete.
The ADCE Awards is an annual european competition celebrating creative excellence, organised by the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE). It brings together the best work from across Europe, selected through national and regional creative competitions, and showcases it on a shared European stage. The ADCE Awards recognise outstanding achievements in advertising, design and communications, with a strong focus on creative excellence, innovation and the cultural diversity of Europe’s creative industries.
A major milestone for Croatia’s creative industry is that IdejaX, the country’s leading national creative competition, has now been officially recognised at the european level and included among the qualifying competitions for the ADCE Awards. This further reinforces its position as the key platform that has been setting the benchmark for creative excellence in Croatia for years.
As of this year, IdejaX entries can compete for the ADCE Awards, opening the door to prestigious European recognition while giving Croatia’s creative community even greater visibility across Europe.
Alongside Film & Audio, Print & Outdoor, Interactive & Mobile, Design, Brand Development & Experience, and Integrated & Innovation, this year’s ADCE Awards introduces a new discipline, Creativity by Industry Sectors, which recognises work within the context of specific industries. The competition also features a range of new categories reflecting the evolution of the creative industry, from the creative use of data and artificial intelligence to gaming, creative strategy and innovative applications of technology. In addition, a new Local Insight category has been introduced across all disciplines to recognise projects that authentically reflect local culture and communities.
The entry deadline is 25 September 2026 and the winners will be announced during ADCE Creative Week in Barcelona this November. ADCE Awards winners also earn points towards the The One Club Global Creative Rankings, one of the world’s most prestigious rankings of creative excellence.
