The detailed overview of this year’s regional competition of creativity titled BALCANNES, MOSAIC OF CREATIVITY encompasses a series of ranking lists with information about the best projects, advertisers and agencies from the region and its five respective countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia!
The winners of BalCannes were announced at DK2024, where we celebrated them the only way we know how. Grandiose, spectacular and simply fabulous. This year agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia competed for gold, silver and bronze awards in 17 different business categories in which they usually compete on the market with campaigns over a two-year eligibility period. Now it is time to spotlight the best of the region’s creativity in the BalCannes Report, the definitive outline of the industry activity in the region. These 47 pages are everyone’s break it or make it moment. Don’t blame us if you didn’t make it on the list. Blame the jury.

BIG WINNERS OF THE BALCANNES 2024
At the DK Festival in Rovinj, Jazavac i Utorak and Hemofarm fondacija won the BalCannes Grand Prix for their Najvažniji poziv u životu project. The title of the best agency of the five countries went to Imago Ogilvy, while the advertiser of the year award was given to Hemofarm fondacija. A special Editor’s Pick Award, given out by the representative of the industry media from the region, went to Studenac and Imago Ogilvy for their EVERYBODY GUC GUC project.

CONTENTS OF THE REGIONAL BALCANNES REPORT
The BalCannes Report consists of three sections: (1) best projects, (2) best advertisers and (3) best agencies. You will see their rankings in the region as whole as well as the rankings by particular countries. If it wasn’t obvious by now, the report lists the campaigns based on their score rather than in alphabetical order. It is thus the first report of its kind that shows the entrants how the Advertisers Jury members evaluated their projects, how the Agencies Jury gave their scores as well as the perspective of the Media Jury. In the BalCannes Hall of Fame chapter you can find a detailed overview of the projects that have won gold, silver, bronze, as well as special awards of BalCannes.

Whether you are an established agency or just breaking into the creative market, BalCannes is a competition that allows you to prove your worth to those who may not know you yet.
