Young Lions Croatia exists to spotlight the next generation of Croatian creative talent — and this year, Dina Javorić and Ivan Škorić (Futura DDB) did more than stand out. Their project Tipkaj nama impressed the jury and took home the Grand Prix.

Young Lions Croatia is where emerging creatives go head-to-head for the title of the best young talent in the country. Winning the Grand Prix doesn’t just mean bragging rights — it means representing Croatia on the world’s biggest creative stage, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and competing with the best from around the globe. This year’s challenge was won by Dina Javorić and Ivan Škorić of Futura DDB.
As this was our first time competing at Young Lions, we came in without big expectations — just with the desire to have fun and be creative. That’s why this news makes us especially happy. We’re proud of our work and can’t wait for Cannes! Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful experience, said the winners, Dina Javorić and Ivan Škorić.
The 24-hour creative sprint took place at Zagreb Innovation Centre (ZICER), bringing together 96 young professionals competing in pairs. Teams were tasked with developing solutions across six categories: Design powered by Igepa Plana, Digital, Print, PR, Media and Marketers. Here’s how it played out:
- Design powered by Igepa Plana
Winners — and Grand Prix recipients — were Dina Javorić and Ivan Škorić (Futura DDB). Second place went to Hana Miličević and Emma Vručinić (MinusMinus), while finalists were Mia Kršul and Laura Novinc (Fabula). - In the Digital category, first place was awarded to Kristijan Duvnjak and Silvia Klinar (dentsu Croatia). Vid Milković and Filip Britvec (dentsu Croatia) secured second place, while Anita Matković and Erol Čindrak (Ured za ideje) finished in third place.
- The PR category was won by Renata Blek and Lucija Mitar (dentsu Croatia). Second place went to Nika Novak and Tena Žuger (CTA komunikacije), while the finalists in this category were Davor Ćosić and Lara Giuliani (Bruketa&Žinić&Grey).
- In the Marketers category, the winning team was Ivor Borovečki and Šime Kero (Sofascore). Lucija Ripa and Karla Ožvald (Atlantic Grupa) took second place, while Karla Ivezić and Laura Fučkala (A1 Hrvatska) placed third.
- In the Print and Media categories, no winners or finalists were selected this year.
A defining feature of the competition is its non-profit focus. Each year, competitors work on a real brief for a non-profit organisation or civil society group, with the winning creative solution handed over for real-world use. This year, teams developed a campaign for Sigurna mjesta, aimed at raising awareness of street and sexual harassment and violence, while encouraging citizens to report incidents anonymously via the SafeCity app — turning silenced experiences into visible, data-backed action for the entire community.
“Being a client in a competition that challenges young professionals in communications and marketing to develop creative solutions for civil society organizations is a great honor for us. We believe that the participants completed the competition with a heightened awareness of the issue of street sexual harassment. This is clearly reflected in the submitted works, which, alongside a high level of creativity, also demonstrated a strong understanding of the social issue and the power of communication as a tool for positive change,” said Dunja Bonacci Skenderović, President of the association Sigurna mjesta.
Awards will be presented at the official DK ceremonies in May. On the same day, the public will also have the opportunity to see all finalist and winning solutions during a dedicated presentation.
Young talent with real impact and one very deserved Grand Prix.
