
There’s a difference between saying the industry is growing and being able to prove it — this year, the proof is everywhere.
Across IdejaX, Effie Awards Croatia, BalCannes and MIXX Awards Croatia powered by Admixer Media, the pattern is consistent: more entries, more ambition and more pressure to prove that ideas actually work. Creativity is scaling, effectiveness is expected, digital is leading and the region is growing.
IdejaX has surpassed 220 entries, marking its strongest year yet, while Effie has seen a 30% increase in submissions, the highest in its 17-year history, reinforcing the growing focus on measurable results. BalCannes has also exceeded 220 entries across the region, while MIXX continues to grow with 180 digital projects, confirming the central role of data, technology and creativity working together.
This isn’t just about volume, but about what that volume represents: more ideas entering the market and more willingness to invest and take risks.
The industry isn’t slowing down or stabilising, it’s accelerating in output, expectations and accountability.
Now it starts to unfold: MIXX finalists are already out, BalCannes begins revealing its finalists from 30 March and keeps going each day through April, and after the judging process is over, Effie and IdejaX will follow in early April.
